Welcome to ABAQIS Online Help v1.0

The purpose of this application is to provide a tool to create quotations. These quotations are then adjusted and interfaced to the Navigtor applications.

Logging in

You must use your ABAQIS user name and password.

Use the ABAQIS web site http://abaqis/ to open the application. The login page will be the first page you see. Enter your ABAQIS user name and password.

Logging out

Clicking on Logout will close your session and exit you from the application. Closing the browser will close your session, but will not exit your from the application. After 15 minutes, you will be logged out of the application. It is highly recommended to use the Logout function rather than closing your browser session.

Conventions

Data rules are highlighted in green italic font or are indicated by a icon. Hold your mouse over the icon to see the rule or click on the icon to go to the Data Rules page.

Tip on creating Descriptions for records. If sorting is an issue, enter upper case letter for at least the first character of the description. This will ensure that the record sorts correctly. PeopleSoft sorts by upper case first then lower case.

To view pages, click on the text following the  icon. The view of the page opens in a new window. Click anywhere on the widow to close and resume using the help file.

Searching for data

When searching for items, you need only enter the first/few characters of a key value to search on. An ending wild card is automatically assumed.

If there is more than one item which meets the search criteria, you will be presented with Search Results. Only the first 300 results can be displayed. Enter more information and search again to reduce the number of search results.
