Stryker Construction
Part 2
Chassis
Linda went to Depot and got me a new supply of Tenax-7R solvent, so some major construction occurred tonight. The whole drivetrain was installed on the bottom of the hull, using most of the "A" sprue. The first PE went on as well, some sort of screen over the four rear shocks. Armor plates were attached to the lower front hull as well.

Tires were added all around and the wheel hubs were attached to the chassis.

Then I got carried away. I put in a partial driver's compartment and began work on a driver (upper torso only, with a MOLLE vest and CVC helmet).  I made a engine compartment bulkhead out of sheet plastic, put a small piece of brass tubing over one of the visible shock absorber mounts to increase its diameter, added a representative radio and painted the whole interior white. I plan to have the driver's hatch partially open, with just the driver's head showing, but I thought that the cylinder and radio would be visible, so I added them, along with the bulkhead.
