Stryker Construction
Part 12
Yet More Parts

These are the correct headlight assembly mounts. They fit on the lift rings on the front of the hull.
The smaller pieces below the headlights fit over the spot where the headlights used to mount to the hull.

Two views of the periscopes used on the Stryker. I coved the periscope lenses with a thin piece of magenta mylar plastic.

Scratchbuilt cable foothold on the front slat assembly.

Along with the Legend resin accessory set, I picked up a sheet of preprinted woodland camoflage decals.

The decal material is cut into fitted pieces, soaked in water to moisten them, then applied to the resin part.

The Big Ed set included sixteen separate smoke discharger barrels, which I dispensed with in favor
of the plastic barrels that came with the kit. I think I've done enough metal bending on this kit.

Yet more little metal pieces. This set has the blast panels fitted to the top of the vehicle, and comes on two frets.

This fret is to make the RHINO anti-IED device, used by many vehicles in Iraq besides the Stryker.

The blast panels being fitted to the top of the hull, prior to painting.

The completed blast panels, ready to paint.
