Metz Moose Mission 2005
Canyonlands National Park

The view through Mesa Arch.

Stuff like this makes Mom nervous.

We headed back to Moab via the Shafer Trail, an old uranium mining road.

At the bottom of the Shafer Trail, we found the Wells Fargo stagecoach trailered up and ready to head home.

Tooling along on the White Rim Trail on the way back to Moab.

The La Sal Mountains are reflected in the potash evaporation ponds along the White Rim Trail.

Somewhere along the White Rim, my little Nikon fell out of the truck and broke the battery
cover.   Judicious application of duct tape took care of the problem for the rest of the trip.

Next...North into Wyoming, in search of fossils
