Metz Moose Mission 2005
Arches National Park
Windows Section

We saw this weird bus at Arches, which apparently
came across the Bering Straits since it had Russian
license plates. As best as we can figure, the small
windows are in the sleeping cubicles. We saw it here,
and later saw it heading towards Dead Horse Point.

Jessica and Marc eagerly set off in quest of arches.

Turret Arch, one of the formations in a area of Arches
National Park known as the Windows Section.

The trail to Turret Arch.

This is the signature image of the Windows Section. Marc
provides handy scale (he learned how to do that last year.)

This is a similar image taken from the same spot, only this was shot on slide film with the F3.
The scanned slide holds far more detail than a file produced by a 2-megapixel point-n-shoot.

The nice thing about using the F3 with slide film is the ability to use my 16mm fisheye lens.

A view of Double Arch, and a view back towards North and South Windows.

Jessica and Marc frolic on Double Arch.

A friendly tourist from Europe took this for us.
