Bryce Canyon National Park
After cavorting about in the
boondocks, we arrived at the relative civilization of
Bryce Canyon National Park, staying just outside the park boundary at a
large
family resort complex called Ruby's.
Sunrise
over Bryce Canyon at Sunrise Point (it seemed like a good place to
watch.)
Our
major hike for the day
was down the Navajo Loop Trail, which starts out by zigzagging its way
down into the canyon. The one major drawback to hikes in Bryce is that
all the trails start at the top of the plateau and work their way
downward...which means that eventually, you have to hike back up.
