Visible from below, the railing at the Grand View Point overlook, a thousand feet above us.
Brutus approves.
We leave Monument Basin and continue on towards the Green River.
This is the campsite where I had wanted to stay, but it was already reserved.
There is a primitive foot trail that leads down from here (through a crack
in the White Rim) into Monument Basin. Maybe next time...
